TOKYO, July 2: Japan’s economic policy minister on Tuesday criticized the nation’s bureaucrat-oriented tax panel for attempting to delay Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi’s reforms to revitalize the troubled economy.

There is something wrong in the decision-making process on tax policy, Minister for Economic and Fiscal Policy Heizo Takenaka told a news conference.—AFP
