Power pylon blown up

LAHORE, March 26 Saboteurs blew up a pylon of the 500KV Tarbela-Peshawar transmission line in Urmar area, disrupting power supply to parts of Peshawar and some areas in southern districts. According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Electric Power Company, the blast took place at about 2am damaging the four legs of the pylon and causing its collapse.

The blasts disrupted supply to grid stations providing power to the Peshawar University and industrial area.—Staff Reporter
