KARACHI, June 26: The city council of the city district government Karachi unanimously adopted a resolution demanding discontinuation of the recovery drive by the Karachi Electricity Supply Corporation (KESC) in the Lines Area, Karachi.

The resolution urged the federal government to exempt low-income groups from the payment of arrears up to December 2001.—PPI
