ISLAMABAD, Oct 31: United Nations secretary general’s special representative for Afghanistan, Lakhdar Brahimi, met National Islamic Front of Afghanistan leader Pir Sayed Ahmad Gilani at his residence here on Tuesday.

According to sources, Pir Gilani briefed Mr Brahimi on his recent visit to Rome and details of the decisions of the gathering. Mr Brahimi was briefed about the possible solutions recommended by the groups.
