TOBA TEK SINGH, June 14: The son of a union council Nazim was arrested on Friday on the charge of committing robberies on highways.

Gojra police had arrested Liaquat Ali for depriving a man of his tractor-trolley on Gojra-Faisalabad Road. During interrogations, he told police that he was the member of a gang, headed by Syed Zain Hasnat, son of a union council Nazim Syed Hasnat Mahmood Shah.

Police also arrested some other members of the gang.
