LAHORE, June 13: Punjab Local Government Minister Brig Hamid Saeed (retired) has said appointment of coordinators in local bodies was illegal.

Replying to a question about the appointment of coordinators by the district and town Nazimeen, he said there was no provision for the appointment of coordinators in the Punjab Local Government Ordinance, 2001. —Reporter
