RCA league from tomorrow

ISLAMABAD, June 12: The Rawalpindi Cricket Association (RCA) has decided to allow nine new clubs to take part in its summer league starting Friday.

On the recommendation of the RCA sub committee, Kims, Bajwa, Chaudhry Sports, Malik Gymkhana, MJM, WICC, Pindi Gymkhana, Hyderi and Damyal Friends have been included in the league. All nine clubs have been bracketed in one group with the side finishing on top in the pool earning the right to take part in the RCA Super League.

On the opening day Pak China will play Shaheen while Youngsters will be up against Pak Sports.

A total of 49 clubs divided into six groups are:

Group A: Gul, Liaqat, Muslim, Waris, Decent, Abbasi, Saddar Gymkhana, Royal

Group B: Rainbow, Gold Star, Madni, Potohar, Star, Medicose, Qazi, Pindi Club.

Group C: Sportsway, Paracha, Pak Sports, County, Youngster, Greenland, Imran, Kent

Group D: Pak China, Javed Sports, Siddiq Akbar, Shaheen, Sethi, Satellite, Faisal, Prince

Group E: Victory, Pindi Sports, City, Friends, XI Star, Diamond, Pindi, Eagles, Robin.

Group F: Kims, Chaudhry Sports, MJM, Malik Gymkhana, Hyderi, Bajwa, Pindi Gymkhana, Damyal Friends, WICC.
