SARGODHA, June 11: A legal help centre has been established in the district to help the people, who are allegedly being exploited by two leading car manufacturers and the local dealers. The affected people claim that they have been waiting for a delivery of vehicles despite booking them six months ago.
The legal cell is starting its operation on Sunday (today) and has reportedly prepared six legal notices against one of the companies. It has demanded delivery of booked vehicles within a fortnight after the receipt of notices, saying the company will otherwise be filed suits. It will not be allowed to sell its products as long as it will not do the needful.
The cell comprises lawyers, including Chaudhry Khaliqdad, Imran Khan and Chaudhry Shahzad Warriach. It will provide free legal aid to the affected people of Sargodha.
The two car-manufacturing companies are allegedly minting money with the active support of various dealers. The people alleged that the government was doing nothing to redress their grievance, as some officials received their due share.
