JHANG, May 4: The Urs of 17th century saint Hazrat Shah Jewna began on Saturday, some 20km from here.

The traditional custom of Kiri (Gaddi) was observed.

Sajjada Nashin takes Gaddi every year on May 4 and confines himself within the limits of Darbar till May 10 when the celebrations reach their climax.

He who takes Gaddi has to follow the custom of not changing clothes or taking bath for a week.
