KASUR, April 25: A man was shot dead and another sustained injuries when their two brothers opened fire on them on Thursday over a property dispute at Jhal Chowk near Pattoki.

The property dispute has been running between Ishfaq Ahmad, Ejaz Ahmad and Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Anwar sons of Muhammad Siddique. On Thursday, they exchanged some harsh words after which Ishfaq and Ejaz shot dead Iqbal and injured seriously Anwar.

Pattoki City police have registered a case.

SIX WOMEN ABDUCTED: Six women were abducted on Thursday in the vicinity of the district in different incidents.

Abdul Razzaq wanted to marry with the daughter of Qasim Ali of Zaheerabad, Chunian, but he turned down his proposal. Being enraged, Razzaq and his six accomplices abducted his daughters Aysha Bibi and Sahjan Bibi.

In Qadiwind village, Mehboob and his accomplices abducted Barkat Ali’s wife and his daughter Aysha Bibi.

Four outlaws, including Muhammad Aslam, abducted Azra Perveen, the wife of Muhammad Anwar, at Saidpur village, Khudian. The culprits also took away ornaments and cash worth thousands of rupees.

Police have registered cases.
