SIALKOT, April 21: Death anniversary of Allama Iqbal was observed with solemnity here on Sunday.

Quran khwani was held early in the morning in all mosques.

A large number of people visited Iqbal Manzil (birth place of Iqbal) and offered fateha at the graves of his parents at Imam Sahib graveyard.

In the local Press Club, speakers highlighted Iqbal’s achievements and services he rendered to Islam and for the establishment of an independent Islamic state. — Correspondent
