ABBOTTABAD, April 17: Strike of doctors conducting house jobs at Ayub Medical Complex Hospital, entered sixth day.

A meeting of the doctors was held here on Wednesday and expressed concern over the attitude of government authorities who have shown no serious interest to meet the one-point demand i.e., the increase in salaries of the doctors on house jobs.

They said from grade I to grade 22, salaries of all the government employees had been increased while they were forced to work with the meagre amount of Rs 3,500. They threatened that if their demand is not meet then strike would be  extended where MO’s and TMO’s  would also join  them.
