Microsoft, APTECH sign pact

KARACHI, April 15: Microsoft and APTECH on Monday signed an agreement to make Pakistan an important player in the Information Technology (IT) world.

This partnership will increase penetration of personal computers in the middle and lower class income group, training programmes for teachers, government officials and development of entrepreneur for IT sector.

Microsoft Country Manager Jawwad-ur-Rahman and Master Business Partner, APTECH Dr Junaid Ahmed signed the agreement on behalf of their companies.

Dr Junaid said the partnership’s planned focus on developing quality training capability locally will generate high-end jobs, improve human resource potential and create the base for exports, says a press release.
