ISLAMABAD, April 11: The government has notified duty drawback facility on export of different kinds of fuse links.
The facility will be admissible in respect of the goods exported on or after November 23, 2001, said a notification issued on Thursday.
The Central Board of Revenue has fixed duty drawback rates on export of dropout cutout and its raw materials at 1.4 per cent of the fob value; 1.13 per cent of the fob value on fuse links (IT to 25T) and its raw materials; 1.08 per cent of the fob value on fuse links (30T to 50T) and its raw materials; 1.19 per cent of the fob value on fuse links (65T to 80T) and its raw materials; 3.29 per cent of the fob value on P.G clamps (3-bolt dead end) and its raw materials; 2.87 per cent of the fob value on fuse holders (spare) and its raw materials and 1.39 per cent of the fob value on strain clamps (4-bolt dead end) and its raw materials.
The facility will be available to EAC Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, Lahore.
Meanwhile, the government has allowed duty drawback facility on export of chromium plated brass flexible tubes and electro polished steel flexible tubes.
The repayment of customs duties will be available in respect of the goods exported on or after September 11, 2001, said a notification issued by the CBR on Thursday.
The rate of duty drawback on export of chromium plated brass flexible tube single clutch outer diameter 14mm and its raw materials will be Re0.24 per centimetre; Re0.33 per centimetre on chromium plated brass flexible tube single clutch outer diameter 18mm and its raw materials; Re0.41 per centimetre on chromium plated brass flexible tube double clutch outer diameter 14mm and its raw materials and Re0.56 per centimetre on chromium plated brass flexible tube double clutch outer diameter 18mm and its raw materials.
Similarly, CBR fixed Re0.17 as duty drawback rate on export of electro polished stainless steel flexible tube single clutch outer diameter 14 mm and its raw materials; Re0.23 per centimetre on electro polished stainless steel flexible tube single clutch outer diameter 18mm and its raw materials; Re0.28 per centimetre on electro polished stainless steel flexible tube double clutch outer diameter 14mm and its raw materials; Re0.39 per centimetre on electro polished stainless steel flexible tube double clutch outer diameter 18mm and its raw materials and Re0.13 per centimetre on electro polished stainless steel flexible tube double clutch outer diameter 7.5mm and its raw materials.
The duty drawback facility can only be available to Faco Industries, Karachi, the notification added.
