KARACHI, April 4: Kaniz Fatima, mother of Pakistan’s former cricket Captain Zaheer Abbas, died here Thursday.

She was 70 and leaves behind six sons and a daughter to mourn her death.

Kaniz Fatima had gone to a nearby utility store where suddenly she collapsed. She was rushed to Jinnah Hospital but could not survive.

Her Namaz-i-Janaza will be offered at Defence Imambargah after Jumma prayers and laid to rest at Defence graveyard.

Quran Khawani and Majlis for the departed soul will be held at Defence Imambargah Saturday (April 6).—APP
