QUETTA, April 4: The Balochistan minister for information and information technology, Roshan Khurshid Bharuha, inaugurated a three-day “Japanese Calendars Exhibition” at the newly established Pak-Japan Culture Centre (PJCC) here on Thursday.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, she said the calendars displayed at the exhibition would create awareness among the people about the Japanese culture and traditions.
“I am very much impressed to see the interest of the Japanese people in children compared to adults. It is very encouraging for the children,” the minister said and hoped that such exhibitions would bring the people of both the countries closer and would strengthen their bilateral ties.
Syed Nadeem Shah, the honorary consul general of Japan in Quetta, said it was the first exhibition of the centre in the city. “More exhibitions and Ikebana shows would be conducted very soon at the centre,” he added.
