HYDERABAD: Hesco man electrocuted

HYDERABAD, April 4: A line superintendent, Mohammad Irshad, 45, was electrocuted here on Thursday in Amani Shah colony, unit no-12, Latifabad.

He was replacing a burnt transformer.

His colleagues said that the feeder was not switched off, as permission was required from the superintendent engineer.

SUSPENDED: The additional IGP, Hyderabad Region, Abdul Rauf Yousufzai, suspended the SIP/SHO, M. Rafique Siyal, Sanghar police station, and the SIP/SHO, M. Yousuf Bhayoo, Chamber police station, on the charges of bungling two robbery cases and the increase in heinous crimes in their jurisdictions.
