KARACHI, March 22: As elsewhere, the Pakistan Day will be observed in Karachi on Saturday.

The day will dawn with a 21-gun-salute. Special prayers will be offered in mosques for progress and prosperity of the country.

The representatives of the three services will lay floral wreaths at the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

TV and radio will air special programmes and newspapers will bring out supplements to highlight the significance of the day.—PPI
