ISLAMABAD, March 19: The existing water reserves in Islamabad are sufficient for the residents till the coming monsoon season, a senior official of Capital Development Authority (CDA) told Dawn on Tuesday.
The water level in Simly Dam, the main source of drinking water in the capital area was 2,259.80 feet against its normal level of 2,295 feet.
“Although the water level in the dam has declined by 36 feet, the water reserves in the dam was adequate to supply till the coming monsoon,” the official claimed.—Our Reporter
