MANSEHRA, Nov 20: One person was killed and five others, including four women, were seriously injured when a leopard attacked them in the Kalda village of Battagram district, on Monday, villagers told Dawn.

According to details, the women were collecting firewood in the jungle when a leopard attacked them. The screams of the women attracted the villagers who rushed towards the jungle with firearms.

One Mashooq Jan fired at the beast. The injured leopard attacked Mashooq, killing him on the spot, and injuring another. Later, the leopard died too.
