Man shot dead by bandits

MULTAN, Nov 14: A man was shot dead while another injured by dacoits in different parts of the city on Wednesday.

According to Mumtazabad police, some bandits intercepted one Muhammad Kamran near Chaki Loharan on the Suraj Kan Road, shot him dead on resistance and escaped with Rs150,000 in cash.

Police have registered a case.

In another incident, two dacoits barged into Sharif’s shop in Block Z, New Multan Colony.

They tortured Sharif and opened fire on him when he, along with some other shopkeepers, tried to chase them. The injured was admitted to the Nishtar Hospital where his condition was stated to be critical.
