ISLAMABAD, July 9: The Minister for Interior, Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, informed the Senate on Friday that the government would introduce a bill in the parliament against Karo-kari.

The interior minister said that though there was no law against Karo-kari, however the government treated such cases as murder cases.

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Raza Hayat Hiraj informed the Senate that a bill against Karo-kari had been prepared and the concerned ministries were being consulted in this regard. -PPI
