SAHIWAL, July 9: Farid Town police on Sunday arrested two prayer leaders for delivering provocative speeches against the government. Hafiz Ikramullah was arrested from a Chak 87-A/6R mosque and Qari Waris Faridi from Kot Khadim Ali Shah.

They were accused of spreading hatred against Qadiani sect and criticising the government.

The accused have been sent to central jail on judicial remand after registration of cases. — Correspondent
