FAISALABAD, Dec. 4: Deputy Inspector General of Police, Faisalabad Range, Sajjad Ahmed says a comprehensive plan has been chalked out to combat the crimes, investigate cases, trace culprits , eradicate corruption from police tier, bridge the gap between police and public and enhance police image among the community.

Talking to a group of senior journalists here at his office on Saturday immediately after assumption of charge, the DIG said that survey reports of all three districts - Faisalabad, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh - had been prepared to launch a vigorous campaign against the law-breakers.

"The plan will be implemented in the range with full force and no criminal will be spared. Monitoring and surveillance teams will work with coordination of watch and ward and investigation teams of police."

He said that special steps were being taken to protect the lives and properties of the people, especially the industrialists and traders. Outlaws spreading a wave of terror and insecurity among the rural population would be dealt with an iron hand.
