SIALKOT, June 3: An old man on Sunday night caught one of the fleeing dacoits in a nearby Gujranwali village, Sialkot Saddar.

Five dacoits barged into the house of Ghulam Muhammad and started scooping cash and valuables. As they were fleeing, the landlord overpowered one of the dacoits. His accomplices opened fire on the landlord, but he escaped unhurt. The four outlaws managed to escape. The dacoit identified as Saeed of Muzaffarpur village was handed over to Saddar police.

Police recovered one rifle and a Kalashnikov from him.
