BAHAWALPUR: PML-N men court arrest

BAHAWALPUR, Nov 2: Fifteen PML-N office-bearers and activists, whose warrants of arrest had been issued, on Tuesday surrendered to the court of the Ahmedpur East judicial magistrate.

The PML-N activists were asked to appear in the court in a case registered against them by the Ahmedpur East city police for holding a protest meeting to observe black day against the removal of Nawaz government in 2000.

Their pre-arrest bails were confirmed by an additional district and sessions judge. Later, the AD&SJ transferred their case to the Ahmedpur East judicial magistrate who summoned them for several times, but they failed to appear in his court. Then their non-bailable warrants of arrest were issued.
