ISLAMABAD, July 24: The British High Commission, Islamabad, plans to introduce a seven working day service from Monday.

According to a press release issued here by the British High Commission, those eligible for this service will include anyone who has previously travelled to the UK, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and complied with entry conditions, students and businessmen on approved schemes and government officials.

The number of applications received by the British High Commission continues to rise and in order to commence this enhanced service it will be necessary, temporarily, to suspend applications of first time visitors under the age of 25 years.

Applications from those under 25 wishing to study in the UK, work or settle there will be accepted.
