QUETTA: Government asked to create more jobs
QUETTA, May 29: The Pakhtun Students Federation has demanded of the government to create jobs in the fields of agriculture, health, and engineering to accommodate thousands of qualified youths who are unemployed.
Speaking at a news conference in the Press Club here on Friday, Asghar Khan Achakzai, chairman of the action committee of the PSF, demanded of the government to allocate more funds for the education sector in the budget.
He further said that the Centre should implement the quota of the federating units in the federal services according to the new census.
The chairman of the action committee also demanded of the government to revive the age-limit for appointments in the government service.
Mr Achakzai said that his organization would hold its provincial council session in Loralai next month.
He said, "We strongly support unity between Pakhtuns and Balochs, and the hidden hands that have been attempting to divide the two ethnic groups would not succeed."
