HYDERABAD, June 1: The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) is introducing its services in Hyderabad for providing assistance to local exporters and small and medium enterprises.
This was stated by the general manager of Smeda, Sindh, Eijaz Majeed, at the concluding session of a two-day seminar on “export marketing and management” organized by the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Smeda here on Friday.
He said that the authority recommended viable projects for investment to the SME Bank.
He invited the exporters to get their names registered at the Ali Baba Database without any charges.
HCCI president Yousuf Suleman said that having great demand in foreign countries, their fruits, vegetables, bangles, handicrafts, Ajrak and marble did not face any competition in the international market.”
He added that the only problems faced by the exporters related to export marketing and management.
