SRINAGAR, Feb 14: Indian troops shot dead three freedom fighters in Kashmir, while seven members of a dominant rebel group surrendered to authorities, police claimed on Saturday.
Indian troops overnight killed two militants during a gunfight in southern Poonch district, while another rebel was shot dead in the neighbouring Anantnag district, a police spokesman said. Meanwhile, seven members of the region's dominant rebel group - Hizbul Mujahedin - gave themselves up to the police.-AFP
