The ADB has shown interest in funding various projects for Fata and agreed to provide financial assistance for various small projects including dams for the first time.

A number of projects relating to water, communication, health and education would be included in the development programme of Fata.

The government has already awarded consultancy contract to National Engineering Services of Pakistan (Nespak) and hopefully consultancy work to be completed during the current financial year, he said.
