KARACHI, March 31: An unbeaten century by V. Singh inspired India deaf team to their first win in the one-day cricket series against their Pakistani counterparts at National Stadium on Thursday.
Singh scored 106 and skipper S. Yadav 81 as India won by three wickets by making 255 for seven with the final ball of the 45-over match.
However, Pakistan had already pocketed the series by winning the first three matches of the five-match rubber.
Earlier, S. Kumar captured four for 24 to restrict Pakistan to 251 for eight in 46 overs. Nabeel Anjum struck an undefeated 77, Mohammad Shahzad made 40 and captain Zaka Ahmed 39.
Besides Kumar, Fahimuddin also bowled to claim three for 44.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Shakeel took three for 38 and Naeem Baig two for 48.
