PESHAWAR March 31: A meeting with Provincial Minister for Industries Malik Zafar Azam in the chair expressed the view that the assessment of developed and backward areas made in 1964 needed to be reviewed and district-wise priorities to be ascertained afresh. The meeting was held in the backdrop of a unanimously passed resolution of the NWFP Assembly demanding a vivid specification of the developed and under-developed areas of the province. It was agreed to collect fresh data showing facilities and shortcomings in each district, so that a plan could be designed. The task of data collection would be assigned to the P&D department.—APP
