Five killed, 3 hurt in road accident

MUZAFFARABAD, March 31: At least five people were killed and three injured in a head-on collision between two passenger wagons, some 12 kilometres to the west of Rawalakot on Thursday morning. Police sources said that a Rawalpindi-bound Abbaspur wagon (RPT 6395) collided with the other wagon (1505) coming from the opposition direction near village Raara, Rawalakot, killing five people and injuring three. Those killed in the accident have been identified as Muhammad Masood, Muhammad Ameer Kiani, Subedar Khalil Ahmed Minhas, Khalid and Ehtsham.—APP
