LAHORE: Balochistan trains rescheduled

LAHORE, March 26: The timings of all trains to and from Balochistan have been rescheduled, officials say. According to the revised schedule, the Bolan Express (3-Up) will reach Quetta at 10am and the Balochistan Express (31-Up) at 11.15am. The Chiltan Express (21-Up) will leave Quetta at 1.45pm and the Balochistan Express (32-Up) at 1.45pm. All trains will cross Balochistan in the day time and follow a pilot engine to ensure the safety of passengers, officials said. VISIT: Railways Minister Shamim Haider visited the Pakistan Railway police headquarters here on Saturday. IG Ahmed Naseem briefed the minister about the structure, performance and reforms introduced in the railways police.

Accompanied by General Manager (operations) Abdul Wahab Awan, the minister was earlier given a guard of honour on his arrival at the PR headquarters.
