BAHAWALPUR, Oct 28: The district administration has announced local holiday on Monday to mourn the massacre of worshippers in a local church.

The holiday announcement was made by DCO Syed Shaukat Ali Shah on Sunday night.

Meanwhile, Markazi Anjuman-i-Tajran, Bahawalpur, said it would observe strike on Monday to mourn the bloodbath. It said all commercial markets would remain closed.

Meanwhile, the funeral of the slain would also be held on Monday.
