SRINAGAR, March 1: Mujahideen in occupied Kashmir killed two Indian army soldiers and injured three in a fierce gun battle on Tuesday, police said.

The soldiers were shot to death in Matrigam village in the southern Pulwama district as security forces conducted a search operation, a police spokesman said.

The Hizbul Mujahideen claimed responsibility for the killings. -AFP
