MARDAN: Relief for minorities

MARDAN, Feb 13: National Assembly member M.P. Bhandara has said that the government is providing protection and jobs to members of moniority communities, protecting their rights and trying to solve their problems on a priority basis.

During a visit to Mardan, the MNA said it was the duty of the government to protect the rights of minorities and solve their problems, particularly of those living in remote areas.

He distributed cheques for Rs5,000 among needy members of minority communities and allocated funds for the construction of boundary wall of a Shmashanghat and a hall in a primary school. He said funds would be given to needy patients from the Baitul Mal fund.
