SIALKOT, Jan 28: The Federal Investigation Agency on Friday arrested alleged human trafficker, Javed Nazir in Sambrial, who extorted hundreds of thousands of rupees from labourers Muhammad Akmal and Zahid Mahmood for sending them Dubai and Greece. According to sources, the accused has been taken to an undisclosed place.

GAMBLERS HELD: Police arrested seven gamblers from a den set up in the Government Allama Iqbal Memorial Hospital here by the hospital employees. Five of them are reportedly hospital employees.

They are; Pitras Masih, Mazhar Husain, Mushtaq Qaisar, Amjad Masih, Irfan Shah, Aftab Masih and Ishaq Masih. Police also took the stake money into custody. Meanwhile, police also raided a den in Waince village and arrested four gamblers.

GIRL KIDNAPPED: A gunman, Ikram alias Toni, with the help of his accomplices kidnapped a student of Government Post Graduate College for Women while she was on her way to college. Ikram kidnapped the girl as her parents turned down his proposal.

Meanwhile, in Mandiyala village, Pasrur tehsil, landlord Boota's son Imtiaz, with the help of his armed accomplices, kidnapped the daughter of a labourer and had her abortion as she became pregnant after he raped her. The accused threw her in fields after her abortion. The girl was admitted to hospital in critical condition.
