ISLAMABAD, May 27: Sindh National Front chairman Mumtaz Bhutto on Monday announced the formation of ‘Sindh Solidarity Front’ aimed at achieving maximum autonomy for the federating units.

The front would not function as a political party and comprise 70-80 members drawn from all over Sindh. The members would be free to keep their political affiliations, Mr Bhutto said in a statement.

Besides seeking maximum provincial autonomy, the SSF would work for equitable distribution of all financial and natural resources, particularly water, among the federating units, it said.
