KARACHI: Projects for Kashmir Colony soon, says minister

KARACHI, Dec 5: Sindh Minister for Mineral Development Irfanullah Khan Marwat said on Sunday that various development projects would begin in Kashmir Colony within the next few days.

Speaking at an open kutchery in Kashmir Colony, he said that the main sewerage nullah would be cleaned at a cost of Rs2 million besides the construction of a boundary wall around Defence View Apartments with Rs1.2 million.

The minister pointed out that a water supply pipeline would be inaugurated next week with the help of DCO and Karachi Water and Sewerage Board in Kashmir Colony.

Moreover, a road connecting Kashmir and Akhtar colonies with the main Korangi Road would be reopened soon, he added. The government was committed to serve people and provide them better services, he added. -APP
