ISLAMABAD, Oct 6: A five-member appellate bench of the Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned hearing in Court Fee case and asked the representative of Pakistan Lawyers Forum to submit an application for the constitution of a bench for this specific case.

The Supreme Court's Appellate Shariat Bench, comprising Justices Abdul Hameed Dogar, Mohammad Nawaz Abbasi, Mian Shakirullah Jan, Allama Dr Khalid Mahmood and Rashid Jallundhary, did not continue hearing in the case due to some technical reasons.

The bench asked Abdullah Khan Dogar Advocate, who appeared before the bench as representative of the Pakistan Lawyers Forum, to submit an application to the Supreme Court for constitution of a new bench for this case.

Attorney General of Pakistan Makhdoom Ali Khan appeared before the court and represented the federation. Advocates General Syed Shabbar Raza Rizvi (Punjab) and Barrister Jehanzeb Khan (NWFP); Additional Advocate General Sindh Qazi Khalid and Assistant Advocate General Punjab Afshan Ghazanfar were also present in the court for arguments in the case. -APP
