KHAAR: Six die in accident

KHAAR, Sept 15: Six people were killed and five others were injured when two pick-up trucks collided in the Mamond area here on Wednesday.

One of the pick-ups was carrying passengers from Mamond to Inayat Kallay when it collided head-on with the other pick-up near Omari village. The accident took place due to speeding, eyewitnesses said.

Six were killed on the spot while five others were injured. Three of the victims belonged to a family. The dead were identified as Ali Khan, Kabir Khan, Rustam Khan and driver Roshadin. The other two victims could not be identified. The injured were shifted to the agency headquarters hospital in Khaar where two of them, Khaliq Jan and Gul Ahmad, were stated to be in a serious condition.
