SANGHAR, Oct 27: The Inspector of General of Police, Sindh, Syed Kamal Shah, has said that he has issued directives to all SSPs and DIGs in Sindh to follow the example of Sanghar police to eliminate the dacoits, and he had come here to salute to commendable job which has raised the morale of police in Sindh.

He also gave a cheque of rupees five lakh to the heirs of Moula Bux Molano who was martyred in the encounter and also rupees one lakh each to constable Qasim Keerio and Qasim Nohri who were injured.

The IGP further said black sheep in the department would not be tolerated who feed information to the criminals.

At police Darbar held at police lines, here on Saturday, the Inspector of General of Police said that he realised that there was a shortage of vehicles, buildings, wireless sets and there were two big menaces in the interior of Sindh one kidnapping for ransom and the second highway robberies.

But within limited resources “we are trying to manage to provide maximum facilities to police to combat the crime.

In Upper Sindh double escorts have been provided to convoys and the police have been provided to convoys and the police have been instructed that if they are fired upon by dacoits the police should not, in any case, allow the dacoits to escape.

He further said there is a ban on new employment, but all DIGs have been instructed to fill the vacant posts and form selection committee and though these constables and ASIs would be inducted and about 1500 ASIs would be recruited, 100 would be from the Shaheeds families.

He further announced that blood screening would be done at Karachi police hospital to test Hepatitis B and C.

The IGP also went to Sinjhoro and met Seth Krishan Mal, who was kidnapped by dacoits, district Nazim Roshan Junejo, taluka Nazim Rana Abdul Sattar and many citizens.

He applauded the efforts of citizens for helping the police to kill the dacoits.
