ISLAMABAD, Oct 27: The government has imposed no ban on release and free movement of wheat and its value added products to ensure its availability at affordable prices throughout the country.
This was said by the federal minister for food, agriculture and livestock, Mr Khair Mohammad Junejo, while talking to a delegation of Central Committee of Flour Mills Association led by its chairman Mr Khalid Masood, here on Thursday.
The minister said the government would provide maximum incentives on finished products to achieve exports targets.
“By the grace of Allah almighty, we have sufficient stock of wheat for export purpose. Now it is national duty of mills owners to avail this opportunity and capture world market for their own as well as benefit of the country,” he said.
He urged them to expand the storage capacity of wheat and government was ready to provide all possible cooperation in this regard.
