HANGU, May 22: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan said on Tuesday that a timely decision by President Pervez Musharraf to join the global campaign against terrorism had saved the country from disaster.

He was speaking at public meetings in Darsamand, Doaba, Torawari, Naryab, Thall and Dalan.

He called upon the youth to devote their energies for the prosperity of their country. “I request the new generation to spread the manifesto of Tehrik-i-Insaaf in every nook and corner of the country to pave the way for public-oriented system in Pakistan.

He criticized the past governments for their corrupt practices, saying the days of Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto were over as the new generation was aware of their plunder of public resources.
