Dutch to quit Iraq in March

THE HAGUE, June 11: Dutch troops in Iraq will leave the country in March next year as the Dutch government will not renew their mandate after an eight-month extension, Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende said at a press conference on Friday.

"We are linking our stay to the formation of a new government in Iraq," the Dutch PM said. -AFP
