KARACHI, May 20: The KSE 100-share index on Monday plunged by 7.5 per cent, eroding about Rs29 billion from the market capitalization at Rs382bn followed by nervous selling as fears of war with India intensified.

The Mumbai stocks also closed 1.5 per cent lower on across-the-board selling by investors on rising fears of a war between India and Pakistan.—AFP
