Two Russians killed in Iraq

BAGHDAD, May 26: A Russian energy firm said it was pulling out of Iraq after two of its workers were killed and six wounded in an ambush by masked men on Wednesday, in the latest blow to efforts to rebuild the country.

The two Interenergoservice workers and two Iraqis died when their bus was sprayed with bullets near a power plant being rebuilt by the firm in southern Baghdad.

Intere nergoservice, the largest Russian company in Iraq, announced it was pulling out its remaining 200-odd workforce in the wake of the attack. -AFP
