LAHORE, May 7: The PCB's medical commission report on paceman Shoaib Akhtar and other cricketers will be made public on Saturday. The commission was formed to determine whether Shoaib's injury in the third Test against India at Rawalpindi was genuine.
The commission also examined the fitness problems of Abdul Razzaq, Umer Gul and Moin Khan while Shabbir Ahmad failed to appear due to his county engagements. The commission has already handed over its report to PCB on Wednesday.
Shoaib underwent a bone-scanning test and according to the report which was leaked to the press, he had injury to his 11th rib. But it is quite likely, the PCB will impose fine on Shoaib which could be, both monetary as well as suspension from some matches.
